NEW to All Hallows: Who Let The Dads Out?
What is it?
Who Let The Dads Out is a toddler session for pre-school aged children and their dads, stepdads, grandads and male carers. It follow the same traditional format as a normal parent and toddler group. There are toys, craft activities, stories, and, if you’re brave, even a song time. But you’ll enjoy a few masculine touches too, such as bacon butties and newspapers!
When does it meet?
We meet once a month on the third Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Our next three meeting dates are: Saturday 18th May and Saturday 15th June. We meet in the Barn (Church Hall) at All Hallows.
What does it cost?
We suggest a donation of £2 per family per session, payable at the drinks counter. Your contribution helps towards the costs of bacon butties, tea and coffee, juice and biscuits, newspapers, crafts, and toys.
What do you need you to know?
Dads and carers are solely responsible for the children they bring. This is a playgroup not a crèche. We make every effort to ensure the group is a safe environment. Your help in this is appreciated. The group is for pre-school aged children only. Once they’re at school, let us know, as there are other church run activities for school aged children.
What we will we do for you?
We will provide a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere where dads and their young children can have fun together. We will keep in touch with you either by text message, email or post to let you know when we’re meeting. If there are occasions when we don’t meet on the third Saturday, we’ll do our very bexst to let you know. We hope to get together as dads to do other things too – we’ll keep you informed.
